DigiTimes is points to a report on a Chinese website called sznews.com, which claims that three Foxconn (Apple’s largest manufacturing partner) have been charged with the leaking of the iPad 2 case designs.

The local police on December 26, 2010, arrested three employees that were suspected of leaking the design, and officially charged the three employees for violating the company’s trade secrets on March 23, 2011, the reported added.
This is unusual. Normally we don’t hear of any of the “leakers” getting caught releasing information. That said, these guys might have gotten caught simply because they released the case design so far in advance of the iPad 2’s introduction. In fact, some images, began to surface as far back as December of last year. Some details were incorrect, but the overall gist was there.
