Bloomberg is reporting that Samsung, who has brought a countersuit against Apple, has expanded said suit to the U.S. Prior to today, Samsung had filed patent infringement suits against Apple only internationally.
Samsung is claiming that ten of their patents are being infringed upon. Seven of which regard communications standards, and the remaining three involve user interface design.
Of course this whole thing started when Apple first sued Samsung over their “Galaxy” line of devices, with Apple accusing them of “blatant copying” of the iPhone. It looks as if this legal battle is going to accelerate before it goes away. Both companies appear poised to fight.
