There’s been an untethered jailbreak available for a couple of weeks now for all iOS devices running iOS 4.3.2 except the iPad 2, but not for Verizon iPhone users running the latest version of iOS for their device.
Until now that is. Now there is a new untethered jailbreak (meaning no need to re-jailbreak after every restart of the iPhone) for the Verizon iPhone running the latest iOS 4.2.7 firmware. It comes in the form of Sn0wbreeze 2.6.1 – a Windows-only app from the iH8sn0w team.
If you’re a Mac user, there’s a solution for you too. You can run redsn0w from the Dev Team, then got to Cydia, install and use the Verizon Untether for 4.2.7 app. You’ll need to add the following source in Cydia in order to see the app:

If you’ve had a chance to give either method a go on your Verizon iPhone, let us know how it went for you in the comments.
