FluidApp for Mac hits 1.0: Basically Free, Advancedly $4.99

That’s probably one of the more stupid post titles I’ve ever written, but it’s meant to highlight the fact that Fluid 1.0 is still basically free, but also offers a few advanced features  for $4.99, namely the ability to:

  • Create Fluid Apps with Separate Cookie Storage. (Preferences → Security → Cookie Storage)

  • Pin Fluid Apps to the Mac OS X Status Bar. (Fluid App Menu → Pin to Status Bar…)

  • Use Userscripts or Userstyles in your Fluid Apps. (Window → Userscripts)

  • If you haven’t used Fluid before, it’s an excellent Site-Specific Browser that could well help you clean up the mess of tabs and web apps that reside in your main browser. Ever wanted to throw Google Calendar into the menu bar or have Gmail as a separate app? Then check out FluidApp.com.
