To call ‘Our Choice‘ (currently $4.99) a mega e-book could be a disservice, but it’s the best description I can think of for the pinchable, swipeable, experience that represents the first publication on the Push Pop Press platform. The text within the book isn’t selectable, but you can pinch open most anything you see to make it bigger, play multimedia, or do something awesome (e.g. using the mic to simulate how windmills work).
The book is basically the sequel to ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, but in Really Convenient Form, and has been getting some pretty good reviews (MacStories, 90WPM), so do check it out on your local iPhone or iPad (it’s a universal app).
