I’m thinking it should since it uses the default calendar database. To get your shared calendars to show up you’ll first need to go to the Google Sync webpage from your iOS device and manually set those calendars to show up on your iPad.

If you sync with google sync then this is a non-issue, unless your Exchange account slit is being used for something else.

If you want something that syncs only with google, maybe take a look at cloud calendar.
