Reeder is my favourite Google Reader app on the iPhone and iPad, and although I don’t quite *need* it quite as much on my Mac, it has still been a lot of fun playing with all of the free public betas.
The latest Mac pre-release, beta 14, features performance optimisations, Readability support (which still doesn’t work for any Gawker media sites), and a new minimised default layout. The new layout has been described as Twitter-esque, but I still prefer the three-panel layout for simultaneously browsing feeds and reading individual posts.
