My iPad 2 Gelaskin is here!

The Cable Cranes Gelaskin for my iPad 2 arrived yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The installation was a little iffy at first because I forgot to prepare the cut-outs for the camera, sleep/wake switch, volume rocker, and speakers, but after about five minutes of fumbling and re-orienting, I managed to get the skin on straight. There are just a few small bubbles here and there, but they’re barely noticeable.

What is noticeable is how much easier the iPad 2 is to hold and how much lower my heart rate is when I set the scratch-resistant backing down on the table.

I plan to post another update after I’ve had a few days with the skin on, so feel free to leave any questions here and I’ll do my best to answer them come Friday.
