Seamless transitions music between Mac and iPhone

Seamless ($1.99) is a relatively new app that focuses on doing one very specific service: seamlessly transitioning the playback from iTunes to iPhone. The sole purpose of this app is to prevent those awkward moments where leaving the house requires you to stop the song that you were playing in iTunes, find said song on your iPhone, and play it again from the start.

All you’ll need to get it going is an iPhone, a Mac running the Seamless Mac client, and both devices on the same wi-fi network.

Incidentally, Seamless reminds me a lot of an iPhone app I reviewed two years ago, called Keep it Playing, which does what Seamless does now, but in reverse (and with a lot less panache).
