Apple has released a very minor update for iPhoto (iPhoto 9.1.3) which fixes a problem wherein events merged in iPhoto, then synced to an iOS device, could be split back into their original events.
The update is recommended for all iPhoto ’11 users, requires the user to be running Mac OS X 10.6.6, is approximately 106.29MB in size. As usual you can obtain the update through Software Update in the Apple menu, or you can download it manually here.
For what it’s worth, I’ve experienced this syncing issue, and thought I was going crazy or something, or even chalk it up as operator error. Glad they’re on top of things. Apple seems to keep on top of iPhoto updates, as there was an update (9.1.2) just last month as well.
