
Patently Apple is reporting that Apple has applied for a new trademark in Europe for the term “Noteworthy”, under the category of computer software. The report goes on to suggest that this trademark is connected to optical character recognition, or an integrated sensing display. The terms used in the application are vague however, so it’s anyone’s guess.
The application was filed in November of 2010, in Jamaica, which apparently is a tactic used by companies to hide their filings, before moving it to more major trademark agencies.
