AppleInsider is reporting that Apple once again will start up their annual back-to-school promotion, and is expected to be one of the topics discussed at this weekends rumored store meetings.
This same offer started around the same time last year (May 25th), and ran into September. Of course, this promotion is aimed at college students, and offers a slight discount on most Macs, and a free* 8GB iPod touch made on the same receipt.
It’s a great deal. In fact, it’s how I purchased my MacBook Pro, and iPod touch a few years ago.
*It’s a voucher program. So if you want, say, an iPod touch with greater capacity, you can put that $199 credit toward another model.
