I’d usually say something along the lines of “another day, another WordPress for iOS bug fix update”, but this time I’d only be partially right.
This most recent WordPress app update also brings with it a few extra features, like a quick photo upload (iPhone only, strangely enough), and a new Stats tab for WordPress setups with the Stats plugin.
These are decent new additions, and to the developers’ credit, I haven’t had the app crash all that many times over the last few months, but the app still isn’t ready for day-to-day blogging. Although I do use the WordPress app for uploading pictures to iSource, I use Blogsy for iPad ($2.99) for most everything else. The WordPress app still needs to get better at formatting, linking, and just about everything else involved in putting a good post together…or, at the very least, get some TextExpander support so that I can work a little smarter within the app.
