Use Safari Reader To Stitch Multi-Page Articles For Instapaper

Here’s a trick that I thought that I had discovered on my own (eureka!), but which Forkbombr had actually covered last November (d’oh!).

If you’ve been finding multi-page articles a hassle to send to Read Later services like Instapaper, then try filtering them through Safari 5’s Reader view first. The interesting thing about Reader is that it stitches together multi-page articles almost seamlessly, and if you scroll all the way to the bottom, there’s a handy little Mail This Article button that you can use to send the stitched article to your personal Instapaper e-mail address (found here).

This is great for very long multi-page articles, like the ones on Ars Technica, which would normally require an undue amount of clicking to read through.
