Apple’s iPad-Centric Retail Overhaul Expected to Save the Company Time and Money

AppleInsider points to a Ticonderoga Securities investors note that was released earlier today, which claims that Apple is likely to save both time and money by using iPad 2s as information kiosk for products in their retail stores. It will do so by cut down on the costs of printing, and shipping, while also reduce the time it takes to roll out new promotional material.

This would sound obvious at first blush, but when you stop to think about it, the cost of printing and shipping promotional material to all of Apple’s 325 retail stores, must be outrageous.
