Firetask Task Manager for Mac Is 50% Off Today Only

Although I’ve never tried Firetask, it reminds me a lot of Things because of its colourful design, large, playful checkboxes, and  local wi-fi syncing.

But one thing that Firetask clearly has going for it is a lower overall cost: a $5 iPhone app, a $10 iPad app, and a $50 Mac app. The complete Things package is $30 more, but is actually about $55 more when you consider this one-day sale for the Firetask Mac app (if interested, make sure you buy the version at BitsDuJour, not the Mac App Store version).

Buying into a whole GTD client on three devices isn’t exactly an impulse purchase, but you might want to jump on this sale if you already own the two iOS apps and want to get some syncing going on your Mac. I’ve also heard tell that Firetask is working on their own OTA sync…but that’s just something to think about.
