Another Purported Photo of Next-Gen iPhone Back Panel Surfaces

Apple.pro, the source of many images of purported iPhone parts, has posted a new image, this time claiming to be that of a back casing panel for the next-generation iPhone. The case seems to have two holes in the back, one for the camera, and the other reportedly for the flash.

The only reason this image has any sort of credibility, is the fact that other images, and reports have surfaced over the past week, which suggest that the next-gen iPhone will not have the camera flash located adjacent to the camera sensor as it is with the iPhone 4, but rater on the opposite end of the back side.

Why would Apple change this? My best guess, is that they did some rejiggering of the internals, for a bigger battery for instance, and couldn’t make room for the flash any other way. Perhaps they found that the flash was interfering with photo capture. Who knows. But one thing is for certain, at least as evidence stands at the moment, they iPhone’s flash has been moved in the upcoming model, and case maker’s are going to be pissed.
