Byword 1.2 for Mac: Borderless Windows And Markdown Support

Byword ($10), one of the top minimal text editors on the Mac, recently picked up a few cool extra features: Borderless windows and Markdown support. The former makes the app even more of a looker, and the latter should help online writers format their posts nicely within the app without having to manually insert all sorts of ugly HTML.

Markdown support is popping up in more and more of my favourite text editors and I have half a mind to take a look at it now. If Byword could somehow save me from some of the WordPress Admin panel’s horrible controls, I’ll name my first born after it (maybe).
