9to5Mac is reporting that several of their retail sources claim that MacBook Air supplies are tightening, worldwide, while an Appleheadlines report notes that Best Buy is offering significant discounts on remaining stock.
The next-generation MacBook Airs of course, are expected in the June-July timeframe, and will likely adopt Intel’s “Sandy Bridge” chipsets. The new MacBook Airs are also expected to ship with Thunderbolt, as Apple rolls out this new I/O standard across their product lines.
Lastly, it is also worth noting that the refurbished MacBook Airs in Apple’s online store have also seen a decrease in price. A price drop coming from Apple, is always a good indicator that something is about to change.
