Apple Store Coming to a North Carolina Data Center Near You

Apple is reportedly planning on opening a new Apple Retail location in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is remarkably close (30 miles) to their Maiden, NC data center facility of legend. This new store will be located in the Charlotte Northlake Mall, which is only 16 miles away from Apple’s other retail store in Charlotte, which is located South Park Mall.

iPad, iPhones Being Used More by Federal Government Employees

It seems that the U.S. Federal government is relaxing some of it’s rules, and are now allowing employees to use iOS devices, as opposed to government issued Blackberrys, at the work place. More good news for iOS, more and more bad news for RIM.

More Hints at “Find My Mac” Feature in OS X Lion

MacRumors mentions that one of their readers, in reinstalling a developer build of Mac OS X Lion, has found yet another hint that Apple will be introducing a “Find my Mac” feature alongside Lion, at next week’s WWDC. As the name suggests, it’s expected that this feature will offer similar functionality as the popular “Find my iPhone” feature in iOS, which has helped retrieve countless lost/stolen iPhones to their rightful owners.
