Blogsy 2.0 for iPad: Now Does Direct Media Uploads But Borks Basic Links

This is a random image from my photo library that I uploaded directly to the site from the Blogsy app on my iPad. For the past month I’ve been using the WordPress iPad app in conjunction with Blogsy to post from my little tablet, so when I saw that Blogsy had hit v2.0 I was hoping I could leave the lacklustre WordPress app completely.

Unfortunately, the answer is still no — at least not until we see a few more Blogsy bug fixes. There is a gigantic list of changes and newer advanced features in the official Blogsy 2.0 post, but it seems as though some of these changes have broken some of the basics in the app. I simply cannot seem to get Blogsy to generate any links properly (it forgets them right after I leave the edit screen) and YouTube clips seem to be permanently left-aligned. I’m hoping another bug fix comes out soon so that I can really try and use this app, but for now I’m playing the waiting game and will stick to posting from my Mac.

Incidentally, now that uploading capabilities are in place, the price of Blogsy on the App Store has increased to $4.99, so I hope you prospective iPad bloggers picked it up while it was a little cheaper!
