I saw an ad for the Case-Mate Waddler for iPhone 4 in the latest issue of Wired magazine and thought it actually looked quite fetching, despite the strange textured silicone back and shock of orange in the top right corner. Then I read the description:
From its raised flipper to the attached webbed feet charm, the conceptual penguin design takes shape with colors and geometrical lines… The captivating charm of this flightless bird truly elevates it to womanizer status.
I must have been watching Happy Feet while Case-Mate was off injecting penguins with a Bond-like sense of suave, but I have to admit it works. It’s very rare that a silicone iPhone case – let alone one shaped and coloured to resemble a penguin – really catches my eye, but I actually think this $25 Waddler looks pretty awesome.
