OmmWriter for iPad is Now On the App Store

I think we’re getting to the breaking point – the point where writing apps are coming out faster than blogs can cover them, where the sentences spill. over. their. periods, and where the meek italics shall overthrow the bold.

That’s actually all nonsense, of course, because I still enjoy looking at writing apps, and OmmWriter looks even more interesting on the iPad than it does on the Mac. Not only have they kept the strange “chromatherapy” concept of kickass backgrounds and trippy sound effects, but they also seem to have done something interesting with the iPad’s keyboard. It’s perpetually skinned, looks a little larger, and somehow ends up floating at around the middle point of the screen in some screenshots. Hmm.

I intend to look at this iPad version later on this month, but if you’re curious right now, here’s the App Store link for OmmWriter ($4.99).
