The Hit List 1.0 Hits the Mac App Store

The Hit List isn’t really a newcomer to the task manager category, but it has spent a really long time in beta, so it’s good to see it as a public 1.0 release. The highlights here are:

  • a slick, punchy design with some fantastic looking pop-ups
  • advanced task management: smart folders, repeating tasks, timers, and AppleScript support
  • iCal syncing
  • paid OTA syncing for $2/month or $20/year
  • plenty of keyboard shortcuts
  • a companion iPhone app to sync with (it’s awaiting approval right now)

You can pick up the Hit List for $50 from the Mac App Store or straight from the PotionFactory website. There’s no question it’s expensive, but then again, so is most every other premium task manager out there.
