iCloud to Offer Free Trial, $25/Year, Ad Supported

CloudComputing-150x150.jpgLATimes is reporting on Apple’s much rumored iCloud service, and claims to have information in regards to the service’s pricing. Apple will first be offering a free trial to iCloud with purchases on the iTunes Store, and after that Apple will charge somewhere in the neighborhood of $25/year.

The report also notes that Apple will sell ads to help support the service. That said, it’s not known how the ads will be presented to users, or if it will only be available to the free subscribers or the paid subscribers as well. They also claim that the service, over time, will later offer similar functionality for movies, TV shows and the like.
