MacRumors is reporting on the findings of one of their readers wherein you request that iTunes check your app library for updates, the iTunes update page revealed a new features for iOS devices, wherein in is suggested that iOS 5 will have automatic downloading of updates.
Here’s the line of text that is in question:
Or if your device has Automatic Download enabled for apps, your updates will download to your device without having to sync.
Although since the discovery Apple has taken down the new language, it is being speculated, just due to the wording, that this new feature could go beyond apps as well. Tie this in with all the recent news we’ve been hearing, and there’s no telling what Apple will unveil as iCloud tomorrow.
