Mission Control- Brings Expose, Dashboard, and a system overview all together in one easy access point/manager.

Mac App Store- Apple’s much touted Application store for the Mac. The same one we’ve come to know and love on Snow Leopard. Now the #1 channel for buying PC software.

Launchpad- An app launcher for your Mac, that looks like an iOS home screen

Resume- When launching an application in Lion, it returns to the state it was in when it was closed.

Auto Save- Just like it says on the tin, everything is saved as you go in Lion. From the document title, you can Lock down autosaving, or Revert to last opened. Versioning- created automatically as file is auto saved, only changes are saved.

AirDrop- “A replacement for sneakernet”(running thumb drives from one machine to another) Drag and drop files to others who have AirDrop enabled.

Mail 5: All new Mail, which closely resembles Mail on the iPad. Better searching as well.

Other minor new features such as Windows Migration, FileVault 2, built-in Facetime and more.

Mac OS X Lion will sell for $29.99 and will be available only on the Mac App Store as a 4GB download, and will be usable on all of your Macs, no multiple copies. You can get a copy when it is released this July.
