I admit, I saw that briefly, but was following 3 different weblogs while takIng notes for my articles. I didn’t go back and look at that particular slide. However, even after seeing it, there still aren’t any details there. We don’t know any details about VoiceOver Actions from the keynote. Considering that VoiceOver is currently an Accessability feature already built into iOS, I’m not even sure it really applies here. Remember, the current system goes under the name Voice Control. Anyway, A lot of speculation on the voice integration side of things before the keynote centered on not just voice command, but Android-style OS-level voice transcription. Considering that Nuance has 2 apps in the App Store that focus on that feature, there are still a lot of questions there.

As far as the App State Sync feature goes, it is nice to see that was spelled out somewhere. However, again, we have no detail on this. How will it work? Is it on-demand? Is it part of the once-a-day backup or can you initiate it manually? Can you opt out of it for certain devices, or certain games that you would like to keep separate? I know my wife isn’t going to want any of my saves pushed to her device, and vice versa.

You really should have a better look at the keyword cloud slides of the keynote – these tell a whole story.

Great question. Unfortunately, I don’t think we found out either way today. Considering Apple’s new focus on untethering iOS devices from computers, I would think that is coming, though.
