Apple’s WWDC 2011 Keynote has just ended, and boy have we got a truck load of announcements for you.

Mac OS X Lion
First off, and to no one’s surprise, Apple revealed the top ten new features that will be included in the next major release of Mac OS X, called Lion.
The ten major new features shown off at the keynote include:
– New multi-touch gestures
– Full-Screen Apps
– Mission Control
– Mac App Store
– Launchpad
– Resume
– Auto Save and Versions
– AirDrop
– Mail

Next up, Apple revealed the next major release of iOS, called iOS 5. This update will have a myriad of new features, such as a revamped notification system, a messaging system for all devices, and other improvements. iOS 5 will be released “this fall”.
–Notification Center
– iMessage
– Newsstand
– Reminders
– Twitter
– Camera
– Photos
– Safari
– PC Free
– Multitasking gestures, Wi-Fi syncing and more.

Lastly, Apple has unveiled iCloud. This new service will be replacing MobileMe, will be free to users, and will become available alongside iOS 5 this fall. This is Apple syncing solution for all of your devices. All of your music is stored in iCloud, while data such as documents and photos is synced from one device to all of your other devices. The service is comprised of nine apps:
–iTunes in the Cloud Beta available today.
– Photo Stream
– Apps, Books, Documents, and Backups
– Contacts, Calendar, Mail
