I have iCloud running on a Windows XP laptop. Do a little searching on the Internet and you’ll see how. Apple just doesn’t want to have to support Microsoft’s 10-year old operating system.

just got off the phone with Tracie, an apple tech, told me to convert from Mobile me to I cloud, told him I was running windows xp and outlook 2010, converted over and wha la, I cloud does not work on xp, he said do a hard wire sync or buy a new computer- what the hell

I am waiting on a call back now

this is B–L S–T and so typical of apple they make everyone get the newest stuff weather you can afford to or not i am so glad Steve jobs is dead i hope it was painful.
now you have to upgrade not just your OS but your computer in some cases if it wont run Windows7 vista was just junk, frankly though most people will realize that windows 7 is superior to anything that apple has on a windows 7 tablet i can use a stylus to draw detailed blue prints of anything and still use my fingers to drag and drop pictures but the ipad is still finger painting that is literally the difference between the professional world and kindergarten when will apple grow up oh well i guess i will just have to keep updating my pc and phone via i tunes. you may call it drop the old bring in the new but it is not necessary. is costs nothing to build of of old stuff and allow it to work with new i am sure Xp can handle the job as well as any other OS can hopefully now that jobs is gone we will see less of this as the company smartens up as well as adobe in the system later i mean that is the one big complaint i see from ipad owners other then the finger thing com on apple join the rest of the world i bet we see a work around for XP within the year its just too common a system and businesses using it on all there stuff that use i phones wont change just for apple they will switch phones to a windows friendly system and fire the people that said they should get apple peripherals
