Apple Registers a Myriad of New Domain Names in Wake of WWDC Announcements

icloudmtr250.jpgDot Weekly has posted a list of fifty new domain names that Apple has registered last Monday. All of these domains are directly linked to the announcements of Monday’s WWDC keynote. Apple keeps things like these under wraps until after the announcements for the sake of secrecy.

Some of the domain names included in the list are:
“ipadimessage.com”, “iphonepcfree.com”, and “macosxlionairdrop.com” and so on. If you really want to, you can see the whole list here.

Of course, one of the domains registered on Monday, was “iCloud.com”, which Apple has reportedly bought from Xcerion for some $4.5 million. Apple also apparently snagged icloud.org as part of the deal as well.
