It seems that Apple’s annual Back to School promotion will finally launch this Wednesday. That said, we’ve heard these rumors before. Traditionally, the promotion launches around the last week of May, which, needless to say, didn’t happen this year. Then the launch was to happen soon after, then the launch date moved to last week at WWDC. That didn’t happen either.
Now reports are cropping up claiming that Apple will be prepping their retail stores late Tuesday night, ahead of a Wednesday launch.
It’s widely expected that this year’s promotion will be similar to previous years’. Buy a Mac on the same receipt as an 8GB iPod touch, and you get the iPod touch free. Alternatively, you can get up to $229 off of any other iPod purchase.
