It’s fitting that I should hear about Day One (an iOS journal app) becoming a universal app from Shawn Blanc. After all, it was his site that got me onto the idea of trying to keep track of my daily activities through OhLife, and it is also his latest blog post that has me thinking about giving Day One a try.
Having an easy Dropbox-syncing journal app on both my iPhone and iPad is what I’ve wanted from apps like Momento or Awesome Note for months now, and yet here is Day One stepping in with a universal app that could well do everything I want for just two dollars. Couple that with the fact that there’s a $10 Day One Mac app on the Mac App Store, and Day One is looking like a pretty amazing solution.
Now all I have to do is remember to actually write down what I’ve done every day…
