Apple Launches Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5, Compressor 4

Apple has finally launched the next iteration of their professional video editing software- Final Cut Pro X. The company also released Motion 5 and Compressor 4, all three of which are available on the Mac App Store at this moment.

Motion 5 is Apple next major release of their 2D and 3D editing software that ties into Final Cut Pro. Compressor 4 allows users to control output and encoding of Final Cut projects.

If you’ve been reading iSource for awhile now, no doubt you’ve seen one of our pieces regarding Final Cut Pro X. Specifically, how the UI, and the architecture of the application has been rebuilt from scratch. Apple is clearly coming at video from a whole new angle with Final Cut Pro X.

Final Cut Pro X is available for $299.99 while Motion 5 and Compressor 4 both go for $49.99 on the Mac App Store.
