Analyst Predicts Apple Will Sell Second, Prepaid iPhone this Fall
Chirs Whitmore an analyst for Deutsche Bank suspects that Apple will roll out two new iPhone models this fall, one of which will be a cheaper model with an unsubsidized cost of $349. This new iPhone would come with a prepaid voice plan. We’ll see. [Read More]
Apple to Move From Samsung to TSMC for ‘A6’ Chip Manufacturing
More reports are surfacing that Apple will be shifting the manufacturing of their system-on-a-chip processors from Samsung to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). Specifically, they suggest that the next-generation “A6” chip will be manufactured by TSMC. I wonder if this has anything to do with the Apple-Samsung patent dispute? [Read More]
