It appears that Apple is rushing to include the missing features from Final Cut Pro X, that professionals are demanding be restored. See, Apple cut, a few features from the previous version of Final Cut Pro, in the new release of Final Cut Pro X, hoping to include them in future updates. I the meantime, EOSHD is reporting that Apple is issuing refunds to some customers who are airing their concerns with Apple customer service.
Apple’s own discussion forums are filled with customers claiming that they received refunds from Apple for their Final Cut Pro X purchases. Some customers however, had to ask on several occasions to get the refund.
Of course, Apple does not have a concrete return policy in place for App Store applications. However, they do handle the refund situations on a case-by-case basis. An example would be accidental purchases.
