Aspyr Media has announced that they will be bringing Duke Nukem Forever to the Mac this August. Duke Nukem Forever, is of course a much-anticipated recent release that took 14 years to develop. Sony to Adopt Thunderbolt I/O
Electronista is reporting that Sony will be adopting the lightning fast Thunderbolt I/O that was jointly developed by Apple and Intel. Up until this announcement, the only computers shipping with Thunderbolt were a handful of recently-refreshed Macs. Good to hear other manufacturers are on board, because just today we heard reports that peripheral manufacturers are starting to churn out Thunderbolt-equipped products. [Read More]
Apple’s Profits in Asia-Pacific Market Soar
As we all know, Apple has seen phenomenal growth over the past five or so years, but the numbers coming from the Asia-Pacific market are staggering. Bwtween 2005 and 2010 Apple’s international sales grew 727%. Profit in the Asia-Pacific market increased by 2,991% in that same timeframe. In comparison, the US market profit grew “only” 682%.
