Here Come the 4th of July App Sales – TomTom App 1/3 Off for 48 Hours

It’s another holiday weekend coming up here in the US. The most American of holidays in fact – and this 4th of July weekend will be full of grilling and fireworks (though none in my hometown), and lovely iPhone and iOS app sales. App sales on holiday weekends seem to have become as traditional as Rudolph and his red nose or drinking Guinness on St. Patties Day.

So I’m sure we’ll see lots of great deals over the next few days from EA and Gameloft and all the usual suspects. In the meantime, here’s a good price drop for navigation app fans: the TomTom U.S. and Canada iPhone app is down from its regular $59.99 to $39.99.

TomTom are calling this a 4th of July sale, but their App Store page says it last for 48 hours – so it will end well before the 4th.
