They have no record of my having the service yet I’m charged monthly. When I try to cancel on the Ipad it doesn’t respond to any email or password. The AT&T website it completely unhelpful as well.

I did not expect to loose 3G service immediately, but I did. That was upsetting because I already paid for the whole month and was entitled to a whole month of service.

If u cancelled the service on the IPad, ur canceling the 3G so why would it continue to work? To have 3G service u have to pay for it through AT&T or Verizon (based on IPad version), if not u have WiFi only.

You can’t do that with post-paid plans, only pre-paid plans. If you have a post-paid plan, it tells you that you can’t manage that type of account on the iPad.

When I went in to cancel my postpaid service, my AT&T store staff told me “You’ll need to call customer service. We can’t do anything with those plans here” and sent me home. Which never did make sense, since they can do anything else with my plan there…

I always hate calling into call centers because they worry more about selling you something new or “retaining you” rather than helping resolve your issue.
