Nortel Sells off It’s Patents to Tech Companies Including Apple

Nortel Networks, a wireless technology manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy in 2009. They announced over the weekend that they were selling off their existing patents and patent applications. These patents were snapped up by the likes of EMC, Ericsson, Microsoft, RIM Sony, and yes, Apple. These patents are estimated to include LTE 4G technology.
