After news broke that there were fake Apple Stores popping up in China, it is now being reported that Chinese authorities are shutting some of these stores, but not for the reasons you would thing. Apple hasn’t stepped in to order the stores closed, but rather Chinese authorities have shut the stores down due to a lack of proper permits. So there’s that. [Read More]

Report Claims that Apple Considering Buying Hulu

Bloomberg is reporting that Apple is considering making a bid for Hulu, the online video streaming service. I can’t see this happening because Hulu, at least to my mind, has nothing Apple wants. [Read More]

Lodsys Now Going After Large Development Companies As Well As Indie Developers

Foss Patents is reporting that Lodsys is now going after larger development houses such as Rovio, the company behind Angry Birds. Other companies coming under attack are Electronic Arts, Atari, Square Enix and others. This brings the total number of companies under attack to 11.
