BGR is reporting that AT&T is making preparations for an “early to mid-September” launch of the next-generation iPhone. This of course, falls right in line with other rumors suggesting a similar launch timeframe.
On a similar note, it’s being reported that Apple will be increasing retail staff in the US and UK in the traditional fall timeframe for the annual iPod refresh, were the next-generation iPhone is expected to be introduced. This of course, coincides nicely with the scheduled “fall” release of iOS 5.
