Angry Birds started life as a ridiculously addictive and fun iPhone game. It has rapidly become a massively popular, all-conquering phenomenon – featured in movies, numerous versions for iPhone and iPad, holiday-themed versions, a slew of merchandising and so on.
And as much as there might be a temptation to say ‘what’s all the fuss about’ it’s still a hell of a good game and it still seems to have near universal appeal. If you haven’t yet given it a try, then Angry Birds Free is a superb taster for what all the other versions offer.
It features 15 levels that are unique to it in 5 mini episodes, and Game Center support. It’s a great introduction to the fun and challenging little physics game that has turned into such a world-beater.
