Apple Now Selling OS X Lion USB Thumb Drives for $69

Apple is now selling the OS X Lion USB Thumb Drive, as promised, for users lacking an internet connection robust enough to download the nearly 4GB Lion installer.

Of course, Apple announced that they would be selling this thumb drive for users lacking a broadband internet connection, ahead of the Lion launch last month. The USB drive has an entire Lion installation loaded on it, and ready for users to install without an internet connection.

Also worth remembering is the fact that Apple released a free utility a week or so ago, which allows users to take a blank USB drive and create a Lion Recovery partition on it. That option however, still required users to download Lion from the Mac App Store.

Needless to say, OS X Lion is still available for sale on the Mac App Store for $29.99.
