The other day I posted about the good news that the official, authorized biography of Steve Jobs is set for an earlier than expected release, in November.

And now there are a number of good options around for placing a pre-order for the book. In the iBooks app, you can get it for $16.99. At Barnes and Noble the Nook (eBook reader device) version is also $16.99 and the printed version is $20.40. At Amazon, the hardcover version is $19.50 and the Kindle version is $16.99.

I’m tempted to pre-order the iBooks version, but I really want the printed copy – so I may just go to my local Barnes & Noble on the release day. Hoping there won’t be iPhone-launch-like lines on that day. Smile
