I had the v1 and it was OK, but I ended up not using for the reasons you described…not closing, and not acting ‘smart.’ Sena warrantied my v1 with a v3 and I love it. I can’t stop opening and closing it now, just to see the iPad turn off and on. I highly recommend the Florence 2 v.3!
