
Over the past few days, shipping timeframes have been slipping for many of Apple’s products according to the shipping estimates posted on Apple’s online store. Reportedly, this anomaly began in Apple’s European Online stores yesterday, and has spread to the U.S. today.
Under normal circumstances, longer ship times would likely mean that supplies of those products are running low in comparison to demand. However, the shipping estimates have been bumped on nearly all of Apple’s products.
In fact, the only product that currently appears unaffected by the new ship times, is the venerable Mac Mini, which is still listed to ship within 24 hours. Of course, some high-demand products will slip in regards to ship times, every now and again, but an across-the-board lapse like this, is most certainly an oddity.
