SF Police Investigating Missing iPhone Prototype Search
Reports are surfacing claiming that the San Francisco Police Department is now looking into the circumstances surrounding the search for the iPhone prototype that went missing in a restaurant earlier this summer. Undoubtedly this is in response to the media uproar around the situation, wherein [mixed information surfaced](http://isource.com/2011/09/05/the-plot-thickens-more-developments-on-this-years-missing-iphone-prototype/) claiming that Apple investigators posed as law enforcement to search a gentleman’s home. It was later stated that those employees were accompanied by several plan-clothed police officers. Nonetheless, it seems the SFPD is putting it’s ducks in a row, just in case there is a legal issue. German Injunction Against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Upheld in Court
FOSS Patents is reporting that the decision handed down by a German court to ban the sale of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1s in that country, has since been upheld in a second ruling. This of course follows Apple’s infringement complaint against Samsung in regards to the design of their Galaxy products, and how they mimic Apple’s own designs. [Read More]
Apple Sues Samsung in Japan
Following Apple’s victory over Samsung in Germany, Apple has opened up their patent war on a new front- Japan. It’s much the same story as Apple’s other complaints against Samsung. That is, Apple is requesting the ban of sales of Samsung’s devices in Japan, and $1.3 million in damages. We’ll see how Apple fares in a different court.[Read More]
Report Claims Apple Planning Third Apple Campus
We’ve all heard, and been amazed at the news that Apple will be building a massive new complex (while also keeping their existing campus), for 13,000 employees in Cupertino, California. Well, that complex may not be enough either, according to Cupertino mayor Gilbert Wong in an interview with the San Jose Mercury News. Of course, the second campus is still in the planning process, with Apple hoping to receive final approval by the end of 2012, and construction completed by 2015. The planning process for the third campus would begging following the completion of the second one. [Read More]
