Apple Looking Into Restoring MobileMe Features in iCloud Transition

overview_title.pngAppleInsider is reporting that they have heard from an Apple customer who emailed CEO Tim Cook displaying umbrage over the loss of some MobileMe features in the transition to iCloud. Then, amazingly, Cook’s office responded to his complaint with a phone call, and stated that the company was “open” to bringing those features back, if they enough customers demanded it.

It’s not uncommon for the top brass at Apple to respond to customer email. Steve Jobs was famous for doing so. But a phone call is unusual, and is usually reserved for technical issues. So, if this report is true, a phone call would mean that Apple is putting weight behind this request. Food for thought.
