Apple is opening a slew of new stores across the globe this week. The company will be opening one in Statford City store in London, the Jungfersteig store in Hamburg, Germany, and a massive store on Nanjing Roard in Shanghai. Furthermore, Apple is set to open a store in the Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso, Texas, and a store at Via Rizzoli in Bologna, Italy.
France Telecom CEO Says iPhone 5 Will Launch on October 15th
Stéphane Richard, CEO of France Telecom has noted that the next-generation iPhone will debut on October 15th. That fits very nicely with other recent reports claiming that the new iPhone will be introduced in a mid-October timeframe. That said, it would be odd for Apple to rollout a new iPhone on a Saturday.
